Having both motion detection AND timed snapshots on a single camera

It would be nice to allow motion detection AND timed snapshots. I would like to record any motion when I'm away from home, but in the absence of movement, would like to see a photo every few hours. Can this be done?

Yes, you can have both in Security Monitor Pro.
You can accomplish this by creating 2 connections to the camera. Add the camera the first time, and configure it for motion detection with the alerts you would like. Once that is working, add the camera again and configure your timed pictures.
