Taking snaps periodically

I want to take snap shots every 30 to 60 seconds. I am using Sony DCR-TRV50E as video source.

To take snap shots every 30 to 60 seconds:
- Under Automatically Alert Me, select the "Periodically after every" option.
- Specify the period in Hours, Minutes and Seconds.
- Make sure that the Take Snap alert is selected from under Which Alerts do you want to run?
- Click Configure to change the settings of the Take Snap alert.
- Change the desired settings and click OK.
- Click the "Start Monitoring with Alerts" button to let WebCam Monitor take snaps periodically.

I am trying to do the same thing but 'Start Monitoring' fails with a message 'Monitoring was not started because Motion and Noise detection were disabled'.
But I am not interested in monitoring using motion or noise detection. I just want an image taken every minute and uploaded.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of WebCam Monitor. To download the latest version, visit:
https://www.deskshare.com/wcm.aspxIf you already have the latest version then make sure that you have "Periodically after every" option selected from the "Automatically Alert Me" group under "Quick Settings".
